Teams
Please remember to send me
your tear off slips (included with the December newsletter) with info of your
horses standard and availability. Dont
forget to enclose up to date copies of your horses vaccinations, including
whole history and silhouette page with horses name and owners name.
Only 2 juniors and 2
seniors were available for the Novice Indoor Show Jumping at Kingston Maurward
on 1st March, and as there is no individual competition in this team
event no teams could be entered very disappointing for those who were able
and available.
Area change of outdoor show
jumping venue now at the Hampshire showground on 22nd June.
Area horse trials at
Larkhill date confirmed 13th July.
Events
We have a change of date
for the pleasure ride in the Purbecks, now 10th May.
Pete & Hayley Legg of
Mend-it gave us a most interesting tour of there premises and also 3 vouchers
of £10 each for the raffle. Many thanks
to Deidre Cox for her free refreshments.
The committee turned up in force but no other members, where were you
all? Your committee works extremely
hard to organise events so we hope to see you at the following events and
training sessions.
On a beautiful sunny
Saturday morning in January about ten members met for our Mock Hunt at Knitson
Farm near Swanage. They had a fantastic ride right out to Old Harry, and
enjoyed the fabulous scenery which we are so lucky to have on our
doorstep. We would like to say a big thank you to Jane, Kate & Sarah Helfer
& also to Alan for being a brilliant fox.

The cost of the
flatwork and showjumping clinics is £10.
These clinics are only open to members so please ensure you have
rejoined if you wish to take part.
Please allow some extra time to assist with poo picking and putting
out/clearing away show jumps.
The times are 6-7pm
and 7-8pm and while we will try to meet your first time option please contact
Deidre Cox on the Thursday prior for confirmation of your time.

NEW !! In
addition to the above Deidre Cox will be running three training sessions for
beginners/ novice/ young horses. These will cover flatwork and/or jumping and
will be tailored to suit the participants.
The sessions will be from 6-8 pm on the 1st May, 12th
June and 3rd July. It is anticipated that the cost will be £5 but
this will depend upon numbers.
