YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A TEAM IN 2009? Please indicate your interest
NOW. You havent got to be fantastic, or have a brilliant horse,
but you must be willing to show some COMMITMENT and attend training
sessions whenever possible. Dates
are given below of the area competitions, plus the national finals.
If you are selected to be in a team, you would be expected to keep
both these dates free. Entry fees are paid by the club, plus a contribution towards
travelling expenses. Vaccination
certificates & passports are required for all ponies/horses that are
competing and these must be up-to-date and accurate.
There are plenty of opportunities for the novice rider/horse to compete, (juniors as well as seniors), plus more experienced combinations. Get out to some competitions now so you are well prepared. For team training please register with Paula Crew Tel 01929 552293 RIDING
CLUB TEAM QUALIFIERS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009
To register your interest in participating in any of our teams, please send the team form to Averil Dalby together with a full copy of vaccination certificate and passport vaccination history, silhouette and vets stamp. Training will commence in January for the indoor showjumping therefore please contact Averil as soon as possible and contact Paula Crew for details of the training.
TRAINING
The club has
arranged the following four opportunities for training in the new year: Kingston Maurward from 7-8

March with Ben Lyles Each session will be
for 6 people. The cost will
be £12 per session and must be paid for in advance. Refunds will only be
made if your place can be filled. Please

with Markus Bauer at Moreton Markus is a very
well respected trainer who is now coming to Dorset regularly, teaching at
Moreton.
On April 16th, 17th and 18th he will be at Moreton and the club
have secured four sessions over the three days available to club members
at a subsidised rate of £40 for one hour.
This is a great opportunity to have tuition with a top trainer, so
we need definite bookings by the end of January.
Refunds will only be made if places can be filled.

sessions with Deidre Cox
for beginners/novice/young horses will cover flatwork and/or jumping, and
will be tailored to suit participants. The sessions will be from
6-7pm at Kingston Maurward in two groups depending on numbers (approx 5 in
each group). Numbers will be limited. Pre-paid members will
secure a place. £10.00 per session. Once a month on Thursdays,
8 January, 12 February, 12 March. Contact Deidre 01305 848241.
Cross
Country Training 22nd March Rockbourne We have two sessions
of 90 minutes each from 10am 1pm for up to 6 horses. Paul Adams will be the trainer and the cost will be £30 per
horse. Please fill out the
